Primary One children having fun during Play Based Learning. Pupils can be learning inside the classroom, in the playroom or outside in the play area.

Primary 1 children have been looking at the story of The Gingerbread Man.In Play Based Learning the pupils were acting out the story, in Literacy sessions they were thinking of their favourite character from the story and in Numeracy they were estimating how many marshmallows would fit in the gingerbread man's tummy. At the end of the topic the children made their own gingerbread men. The children had fun decorating and eating them.
